Some Wednesdays begin as great days. Sunny. Bold. Some Wednesdays begin grey. Lackluster. Blah.
All Wednesdays are New Comic Book Days and, in our family, Harrison's Comics Days and Gulu-Gulu Cafe Days. Gulu's waitresses love (tolerate?) my kids, even on the grey days. My kids love Gulu's carbohydrates, Italian sodas, and the giant climbing bar near the toilets. I love the wide, worn wooden tables and the Boston mug terrier.
Today began grey. Lackluster. Blah. Carbs, sodas, coffees and comics later, we're back living in color. Satisfied. Content.
